Strategist

Ján Uriga received a PhD. at the Institute of Experimental Psychology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, where he was involved in research and application of social intelligence and decision-making processes of leaders. Between 2003 and 2009, he worked as an HR and project manager in public administration and an international IT corporation. Since 2010, he has been working as an expert in the structures of the big four companies (Deloitte, currently PwC) on global consulting projects in the areas of strategic change management, customer experience and innovation. In 2018, he brought to the Central European region the unique spin-off concept Experience Centre, which he led in the Prague office of PwC, with the aim of combining the deployment of innovative modern technologies in the service of customer experience. He continues to work at PwC as an expert on strategic go-to-market projects. In addition, he currently works from Prague as an independent strategic consultant for creating growth strategies, setting up business and sales models, innovation initiatives and projects to improve the customer experience of iconic companies in the region of Central and Eastern Europe. As a creative specialist, he is part of a community of almost a hundred innovators from leading companies in the Red Button network. In cooperation with The Global Exec, a leader of international immersion trips is created for top executives of companies who travel to Israel, Singapore, Scandinavia, China, etc. to find practical inspiration. Externally, he teaches the application of behavioral sciences to practice at the Pan-European University. He is the co-founder of a project connecting significant capacities in the field of behavioral economics. Since 2020, he has been a member of the jury that evaluates customer experience projects on a global, European and American level. As a volunteer, he has been involved in a project in the non-profit sector for a long time, which is aimed at supporting families with disabled children.
