Since 2021, he has been the director of the Department of Trade and Consumer Legislation at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. Considering that his department actually exercises the competence of the Trade Office of the Czech Republic as the central body of the state administration for the area of trade entrepreneurship, from the very beginning of his appointment, he advocates the modernization and digitization of this area of state administration and its popularization towards the public. He is also actively involved in the educational activities of officials, constables, policemen and the modernization of the state administration, in the framework of which he mainly popularizes the use of smart technologies. He is one of the leading Czech experts in the field of tort law and, since 2021, he has been a member of the European Commission's expert group for political dialogue and the exchange of experience in the field of consumer policy. It focuses its scientific and research activities on the issue of interaction between administrative and criminal law and the law of information and communication technologies. As of January 1, 2023, under his leadership, his team managed to launch a completely new Entrepreneurship Portal, which offers a whole range of useful services especially for the business community but also for trade authorities.
